     Ida Wilbur was born on 27 October 1854 in Bonus Prairie, Boone, Illinois.^1,2 She was the daughter of Jefferson Wilbur and Elizabeth Ann Trim.
     Ida Wilbur was probably included as a white female, age under 4, in Jefferson Wilbur's household on the 1855 Census enumerated in in Spring, Boone County, Illinois.³
     On 9 July 1860, Fred, Clara, Elmira and Ida migrated to in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska, from left Bonus, Boone County, Illinois and with her parents Jefferson Wilbur and Ann Wilbur. They came in an oxen drawn covered wagon. Because of the value that Jefferson placed on education he chose land in Ponca, even though the acreage cost $7.00 an acre vs $1.25 an acre for Government land, in order for his children would be able to attend school. The School in Ponca was the only school that was near the property. The fact that the family left in July 1860 could be the reason that his family is not found on the census of 1860. They may have been missed by the census taker in both Illinois and Nebraska.⁴
     Ida Wilbur appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska, in the household of her parents, Jefferson Wilbur and Elizabeth Wilbur.¹
     On 4 February 1877, Ida Wilbur married Wallace I Butler, son of Edward Butler and Alice (Unknown), in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska.⁵ Ida Butler witnessed the marriage of Fred Elmer Wilbur and Mary Fleura "Mamie" Conrad on 4 July 1878 in Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska.^{6,7,8,9,10,11}
     Ida Butler and Wallace I Butler appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Staton Precinct, Staton, Nebraska, enumerated 18 June 1880 Their children Clarence E and Grace were listed as living with them.¹²
     Ida Wilbur was mentioned in the will of her father, Jefferson Wilbur filed on 23 August 1904 in Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska. The will also mentions: Fred Elmer Wilbur, Clara Wilbur, Elmira Eisenlord "Myra" Wilbur, Frank Wilbur, Minerva Wilbur, Lee Wilbur and John Albert Wilbur.¹³
     Ida Butler and Wallace I Butler appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Appleton, Klickitat, Washington, enumerated 16 April 1910. Their daughter Lottie was listed as living with them.¹⁴
     Ida Wilbur appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of San Leandro, Alameda, California, at 526 West Merle Court, enumerated 8 April 1930.¹⁵
     Ida Wilbur died on 23 March 1942 in in San Leandro, Alameda, California, at the age of 87.²

     Isaac Wilbur was born on 16 January 1777 in Washington, Dutchess, New York.¹ He was the son of Enoch Wilbur and Phebe Church.
