     Alphonso Winters was born in 1841, Michigan.1 He was the son of Sally C. Hyde.1
     Alphonso Winters appeared on the 1855 State Census of Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York in the household of his parents, Nicholas Linderman and Sally C. Linderman, his mother and step father.2,1
