On friday somehow she separated her shoulder and then we couldn't get her to eat because her tongue was back in her mouth, but her vitals were good. But about midnight today her oxygen level went down and her heart beat went up to 180 so we took her to emergency. We went against the DNR just to get her comfortable, so she has a ventilator but we will probably have it taken out in the next couple of days. Kris

E-mail from Cindy Mattie, Phyllis' daughter: Dear Bob, My name is Cindy Barthlow Mattie. I am Phyllis Brothers Barthlow's daughter. She wanted me to contact you to see how to get her name highlighted on the Roll Call so anyone who wants to email her can. She doesn't have a computer but would like for the emails to come to me and then I can get the messages to her. She is hoping she will be able to make it to the reunion this October. Unfortunately, she was in the hospital from May 5th until August 12th. She is still on a clear liquid diet and has a home health nurse visiting her daily. If you could please put in the Prayer Request section we would appreciate that. It has been an extremely tough year for her. My dad, James Douglas Barthlow, passed away on April 23, 2009.
