Anoka County Death IndexAnoka County History Center has extensive obituary files from 1869 to the present. This is a start to a master index of all the Obituary files. If you would like copies of the obituaries please contact us at [email protected] or come to the History Center and we will help you to find them. The obituaries are in 3 different formats depending on the years that they were collected. 1869-1974 are indexed in BINDERS. The master index lists the dates of the binder and the page number within that range. They are usually together by decade. Some binders have a copy of the obituary and some are only references to newspapers that are available on microfilm at the history center. 1975 - present are on index cards in alphabetical order in a CARD FILE Oversized obituaries are filed in MANUSCRIPT FILE by folder (A, B, C, D) and page number Please specify all information when ordering obituaries.
