Bertha Hesaltine was born October 22, 1891 in Houtzdale Pennsylvania to William and Lydia (Dainty) Hesaltine. She married Richard Lester in 1909 and the couple resided at 330 Philadelphia Ave. in Barnesboro Cambria county Pennsylvania. Bertha had two children Richard G. Lester born December 7, 1910 and Charles born in 1918. In 1920 the family residence was 88 Philadelphia Ave Barnesboro, PA Bertha was 29 years old at that time. As of 1937 Bertha and Richard where living at 519 Vickroy Ln. in the Ferndale area of Johnstown, Pennsylvania and the couple would remain in Ferndale. Bertha passed away November 3, 1968 she was proceded in death by her husband Richard and son Richard Jr. Bertha is intered beside her husband Richard in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
