Jacob Lester was born on June 9, 1903 to Henry and Clara (Hesketh) Lester in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania. In 1910 the family resided in Rockville, Croyle TWP, Pennsylvania, Jacob was six years old. Jacob married Dora Hull born October 5, 1908 to William and Susan (Selbert) Hull. Jake and Dora resided in St Michael, Cambria County, Pennsylvania and they had five children, Jacob Jr. Eugene, Ronald G., Donald, and Gary. Jacob and Dora owned a farm where the Lester and Hesketh families used to have thier family reunions a great time was had by all. Jake was a Engineer for the Pennsylvania Rail Road and a member of the brotherhood of Rail Road Engineers. Jake Passed away June 2, 1981 at Windber Hospital he is intered at Mount Hope Cemetery. Dora passed August 3, 2000 she was intered next to Jake.
