Harris, Betsey Ann (1816-1894) - Betsey Ann (Harris) Elms is my 3rd great-greataunt. She is the daughter of Henry Harris and Margaret Brown. She married Pardon M. Elms and had 10 children. Scanned photograph in possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Harris Children (cir. 1910) - Children of LeRoy & Alice (Osberg) Harris at their home in Harrisena. Anna, Hazel, Pearl & Marshall. Marshall Harris was born in 1908, he is my grandfather. Photograph from Connie (Harris) Farrington. In possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Harris, LeRoy (1879-1965)- The label on the back of this photograph is Lee Harris. My great-grandfather LeRoy Harris went by the name of Lee. Photograph from Connie (Harris) Farrington. In possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Harris, Mary (1772-1853)- I found this picture on eBay for sale. I couldn't afford to bid on it so I just copied the scan of the picture. Mary (Harris) Brayton is my 4th-great-greataunt and daughter of Moses Harris, Jr. Scanned image in possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Harris, Moses Jr. (1749-1837)- This drawing of Moses Harris, Jr. was done by my husband William J. Zamora for my father Philip J. Harris' book " Moses of the Barkeaters". Moses Harris, Jr. is my 5th Great-Grandfather. The Patriot Spy that helped win the Battle of Saratoga. Original drawing in possession of Philip J. Harris. Scanned image in possession of Renee M. Harris, Philip & Alice Family (1984)- This photograph was the last complete family photograph taken of the Philip & Alice (Weatherwax) Harris Family. Standing - Steven, Randy, James, Philip. Seated - Renee, Alice, Brenda. Photograph in possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Harris, Philip & Alice Home This photograph was taking from a hot-air balloon over our home in Harrisena. You can see Alice (Weatherwax) Harris (1932-1999) in a red dress taking a photo of the hot-air balloon. They later exchanged photographs. I like to call this picture "Heaven". It reminds me of my near-death experience and the level I saw another world/plane resting "just above the tree tops". Photograph in possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Harris, Townsend (1801-1878) - Townsend Harris is my 2nd cousin 6 times removed. He was the first U.S. consul to Japan, credited with opening trade between Japan and the western world; he was portrayed by actor John Wayne in the Hollywood movie "The Barbarian and the Geisha". Scanned image in possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Harris, Townsend "Medal" (1801-1878) - I found this medal on eBay for sale. I couldn't afford to bid on it so I just copied the picture. Townsend Harris is my 2nd cousin 6 times removed. The City College of New York awards the Townsend Harris Medal each year. In 1846 Harris joined the New York City Board of Education, serving as its president from 1846-48. He founded the Free Academy of the City of New York, which later became the City College of New York, to provide education to the city's working people. Scanned image in possession of Renee M. Harris, Veniah (1815-1897)- Veniah Harris is my 3rd great-grandfather. The grandson of Moses Harris, Jr. Original photograph in possession of Wade LaPan.
Jeppsson, Nilla (b. 1814) - The label on the back of the photograph says Great-Grandmother Osberg. The original photograph belonged to Rachel (Harris) Kubricky. Nilla (Jeppsson) Osberg would of been her great-grandmother. Nilla is my 3rd great-grandmother. Scanned photograph in possession of Renee M. Zamora.
Osberg, Nelson Siven & Anna - The Osberg's are my 2nd great-grandparents, and my immigrant ancestors from Sweden. Nelson's name in Sweden was Nils Svensson Osberg (1844-1929). Anna's last name was Jacobsson (1842-1899). Photograph in possession of Renee M. Zamora.
