I sent away to the National Archives for After Action Reports of the 243rd. I got back reports for August of 1944 to May of 1945. Each month Col. Rucks, Major Banks or Capt. Smith would summarize what the battalion did and where they traveled. Each battery is mentioned. There are also Message Center Logs and Fire Mission Sheets.
