Privacy Statement for The Richie Family Web Site

Privacy is always a concern for folks on the Web. Hence, you should know what this site does and does not do.

The Richie Family Web site does NOT secretly collect information on anyone. Everything that is posted on this site has been freely submitted by some family member and is available for all to see and enjoy. If you find something to be questionable, contact the WebMaster with specific details.

We use three linked services on this site: the homepage itself, the calendar and the message board. The homepage and calendar are provided by Rootsweb.com and are free. As best I can tell, they do not use cookies and do not use any information posted on the site.

The message board is provided free of cost by "InsideTheWeb." All people who access our family website can post a message, which can viewed by everyone else. InsideTheWeb does "use cookies to count and track site visits anonymously" as well as display ads (that's how they make their money to make this service free). Ads are routinely updated by a third party called Flycast.

Please note that message boards must be used at least once every 45 days or we get kicked off of the system. It's the old adage: Use it or Lose it!
