Death Claims Mrs. D. Heiser; Husband Ill

Esteemed Woman Passed Away Yesterday Afternoon at Home on Boyd Street  - Stroke


Mrs. Daniel Heiser, respected resident and well known woman, died at her home, 510 West Boyd Street at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon from the effects of a stroke of paralysis.

Mrs. Heiser was first stricken about two weeks ago and on Friday last suffered a second stroke from which she did not rally.

The deceased had lived in Shamokin for the last 35 years and was held at the highest regard among a wide circle of friends.  She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of the First United Brethren Church.

She is survived by her husband who has also been critically ill for the past several weeks, three sons, William, Roy, and Clarence and two daughters, Lulu and  Mrs. Samuel Long of this city.

The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
