We remember the passing of Richard A. Martsolf, Sr. on December 9,
2001. He is survived by three children, Evelyn Morcelle, East Aurora,
N.Y.; Richard Martsolf Jr., Hookstown, and Doris Leek Zagrocki, Hopewell
Township; three step-daughters; 11 grandchildren, seven step grandchildren
and 12 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren.
Richard was born January 31, 1923 in Beaver, Beaver County, PA, a son of the late Ernest W. Martsolf and Jessie May Reid Martsofl Stotts. He graduated from Beaver High School in 1941. He served as a corporal in the 691st Tank Destroyer Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a faithful member of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church.
