There are 22 Townships in Newton County and have self-published a
1900 Census book for each township with many notes included.
Have also self-published Newton County, Arkansas Marriage Books,
E, F, G I, J and lots of this information comes from my research from
these books.
Have also transcribed the 1910 Newton County, Arkansas Census but,
have not published it.
Have the 1920 Newton County, Arkansas CD census which I use for
reference.
Have spent many,many hours viewing microfilms in LDS Family History
centers and other libraries in different states.
Own a large genealogy library which include many books from
different Arkansas Counties and different states.
Bud Phillips wrote several books and in one of his books "New Ozark
Cousins" he tells about these families and I will quote some from his
book.
His book is available through the Newton County, Arkansas Historical Society and their web page is on line.
