The
following pages will try to give a family history of the RHODES family of
Onslow Co. This family came to Onslow County, N.C. in the early 1700's from Bertie County, N.C.
For many years there has been much confusion on the
originator of this line "HENRY RHODES"-there were several Henry RHODES of this
time period; and hopefully we will try and straighten them out.
