JEAN VAWTER PECK

 

Tombstone reads:

Jean Peck

Feb. 19,1890

Dec. 3, 1906

 

JEAN VAWTER PECK was born on February 19,

1890  in Rockwall County, Texas. She was the

second child  of Joseph and Laura Peck.   A letter

from Elizabeth Josephine Peck Hanby dated 10th

 June, 1891 to her daughter, Nora McChesney

Hanby, says: "Uncle Joe and Aunt Laura  were

here yesterday and... The baby's   arm seems

to be well and it is fat as a pig - it laughs  out loud

sometimes." [This would be Jean Peck,  I believe. ]

Jean died at the young age of 16 years.
