August 6, 1902

 

ELIZABETH LLOYD PECK was the third child

of Joseph and Laura Peck. In an undated letter to

 her daughter, Nora (Nona) McChesney Hanby,

Elizabeth Josephine Peck Hanby writes: "Lloyd

Peck is here staying a week and is the happiest

child I have seen for a long time." In another

letter to Nona, dated I' June 1901, Elizabeth

Peck Hanby, wrote "Your Uncle Joe came for

 Lloyd yesterday, She did not want to go home,

 but he told a lot about Emma Leigh and she

concluded to go." [Leigh would have been about 4 months old at this time.]
