LCAP 2/22/1999 GLENMORA -- Funeral services for Lola Ree Germany Butler, 84, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23 in Glenmora United Methodist Church. The Rev. Pamela Fitch will officiate. Burial will be in The Campground Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home of Oakdale. Visitation is 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Tuesday, both days in the church. Mrs. Butler died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999 in an Alexandria hospital. She was a native of Glenmora. She was a member of Glenmora United Methodist Church, a member of the Glenmora B.P.W. since the early 50's and a member of the United Methodist Women Association. She spent 35 years nursing in Port Arthur, Texas, and was a Rapides Parish Electoral Commissioner. Survivors include her husband, Carl Butler; one son, Broox "Red" Butler of Glenmora; one daughter, Carolyn Hare of Bridge City, Texas, one brother, Tom Germany of Oberlin; one sister, Maxine Hogan of Glenmora; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 12
