Obituaries Irma E. Lamb A mass of Christian burial will be offered for Irma E. Lamb of Sacramento at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Saint Francis Church.
Mrs. Lamb, a native of California who lived in Sacramento 53 years, died Friday in a convalescent home. She was 60.
For 30 years, Mrs. Lamb was a state employee. Her latest job was as state employment office supervisor.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie Lamb, an electrician.
Prior to the mass, funeral services are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the N. G. Culjis and Son Chapel of the Valley. 20

Obituaries J. D. Sarmento
Joseph Dutra Sarmento, 74, died at his Lakehead home yesterday. He was born Nov. 2, 1883 in Freeport. He lived in Shasta county during the past six years.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Irma Lamb of Sacramento; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Bruegger and Mrs. Rose Lucas, both of Sacramento; four brothers, Clarence of Salt Creek, John of Life Oak, Chip of San Francisco and Frank of Santa Cruz.
Sarmento's body will be forwarded by McDonald's chapel to Klumpp's funeral home in Sacramento where services and interment are pending.

Sarmento, husband of the late Louise Sarmento, beloved father of Mrs. Irma Lamb, loving brother of Mrs. Rose Lucas, Mrs. Josephine Bruegger, Clarence, Frank, Seraphine and John Sarmento; a native of Clarksburg, aged 74 years. A member of U. P. E. C. No. 130 of Patterson. Friends are invited to attend the funeral Monday at 8:30 A.M. from the George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 808 O Street, thence to St. Elizabeth Church where a requiem mass will be offered at 9 A.M. for the repose of his soul. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Recitation of the rosary Sunday at 8 P.M.
