General:
According to James Faulconer Perrin's History, page 634 states "....Samuel Parker was born in Maryland Dec. 17, 1792, and died in 1879...Matilda (Boyce) Parker was born in Philadelphia, April 7, 1798, and is now living in Illinois." However he also quotes Marguerite Emmons as saying that later census records consistantly give her birthplace and date as Kentucky in about 1802. The 1880 census states that her parents were from Delaware. 22
