Project Goals:
The Peavey/Peverel/Pavely project is designed to establish the common
ancestor(s) of a set of phonetically related surnames of the type:
PEVEREL, PEAVEY, PEVERLEY and PAVELY. This will enable us to overcome
brick walls in connecting different branches.
How this is being achieved:
We are searching for any male-line descendants bearing these surnames,
or close variants, who are willing to participate in the project. This
can be done by obtaining a simple (painless!!) genealogical DNA test.
This can be done in two ways:
Through the commercial testing organization Family Tree DNA and can be
