L. Stancliff and William Kendrick. George was the son of George Henry and Sarah Jane [____] Kice born Louisville, Jefferson County, KY Oct. 19, 1842, died Louisville, Jefferson County, KY Feb. 27, 1907, buried Cave Hill Cemetery.
In the 1880 Census this family lived at 13 Greiger Street Louisville, KY and Maria's brothers Joseph and Henry Clay Stancliffe were living in the household.

GEORGE LEE KICE born Louisville, Jefferson County, KY April 24, 1867, died at Henderson, Henderson County, KY in 1925, buried Henderson, KY, married EMMA CATLIN, daughter of Robert W. and Emma [Pryor] Catlin, she died Ada, Pontotoc County, OK 1928, buried Henderson, KY. Family moved in 1907 to Ada, Oklahoma, where George was the Secretary of the local Cement Company.
2. MURRAY STANCLIFFE KICE SR born Louisville, Jefferson County, KY September 1, 1868, died Feb. 16, 1938, buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA, married Sept. 20, 1892 LUCY MILLER. This was the father of Murray Stancliffe Kice Jr. who was so interested in the Genealogy of the Stancliff family.
3. CORRINE KICE born Louisville, Jefferson County, KY 1870, died Louisville, Jefferson County, KY May 20, 1936, buried Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, married 1. ____BRUNER, married 2. _____ D'ARNEAU.
