Daughter of Jesse and Phoebe [Wood] Stanclift born Collins, Erie County, NY about 1816, died before 1843, married 1836 THEODORE H. POTTER son of Hosea and Marcia [Latten] Potter born Cooperstown, Otsego County, NY 1813. After Sally's death Theodore married again, to Naomi Canfield. Theodore inherited his father's land in Concord Township, Erie County, NY.
CHILDREN: Theodore H. and Sally [Stancliff] Potter(1)
1. MARCIA POTTER born 1837, married DAVID P. HALE of North Collins, son of Isaac A. and Phoebe [Pratt] Hale born North Collins, Erie County, NY Oct. 24, 1836(2). He was a brother of Elizabeth [Hale] Stanclift, wife of Edward, so Marcia's sister-in-law was also her aunt. She had a daughter Hattie M. Hale born 1860 NY. They moved to Michigan.
2. HARRIET L. POTTER married OZRA or OSERA CHURCHILL of Boston Corners
