(90) OLIVE5 STANCLIFF (Stanbrough P.4, James3, William2, James1)

Daughter of Stanbrough Perigrine and Sibbel [Davis] Stancliff born Hamilton Township, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada either 1802 or 1807, married ____ TRIPP probably William Tripp, and was deceased by 1839.

The following children listed as children of Olive and heirs of Stanbrough Stancliff. There was a William Tripp family living next door to Mary [Stancliff] Tripp, widow of Daniel Tripp, in Washington Township, Jackson County,in the 1830 Census. There is also with that family an elderly female of proper age to be Sibbel [Davis] Stancliff. The 1840 Census shows William living Jackson County, Washington Township and at this date there are additional children in his family(1).

CHILDREN: _____ (maybe William) and Olive [Stancliff] Tripp

1. LAVINIA TRIPP a Lovina Tripp married Jackson County, OH Nov. 28, 1846 ROBERT JONES(2). In the 1839 Court record Lavinia Tripp was said to be in Illinois.

5. DANIEL TRIPP

6. SILAS TRIPP born 1823/1825 according to census records, married Hocking County, OH Nov. 26, 1846 MARY DILL "Polly" born PA 1924 and probably the daughter of William and Elizabeth Dill. Lived Jackson Township, Vinton County, 1850(3) and still lived there in 1860(4).

7. POLLY TRIPP of Athens County in 1839
