(102) ROXY5 STANCLIFT "Roxa" (William4, Josiah3, William2, James1)

Daughter of William and Mary [Slade] Stanclift born Jan. 15, 1800, died Feb. 28, 1825 or 1826 � 27, married Jan. 25, 1817 SCHUYLER WHEELER son of Ephraim and Catherine [Dutcher] Wheeler born Feb. 15, 1798(1).

Schyler married again after the death of Roxy, to Amanda Allen daughter of William and Aurel [Brooks] Allen of Remsden, NY and a sister of Lydia [Allen] Stanclift, who was the wife of Roxa's brother, Robert Stanclift. They had a daughter, Eliza Wheeler.

Schuyler was counted in the 1840 Census still living in Russia, "Northern District of New York", near both his brother, Ephraim E. Wheeler and Roxy's brothers Danforth and Robert Stanclift(2). Later in the 1840s Schyler and Amanda [Allen] Wheeler moved to Remsden, Oneida County, NY about 30 miles north of Utica and engaged in a number of land transactions in that area, at least one of those transactions involved Amanda's parents, William and Aurel [Brooks] Allen.

1. SAMANTHA WHEELER born Dec. 27, 1818, died Oct. 17, 1886

2. OLIVE WHEELER born Feb. 17, 1821, died May 25, 1889, buried Wheeler Lot, Russia, Herkimer County, NY married SOLOMON V. FRAME who moved to Trenton or Remsen, Oneida County, NY in 1838(3) from Jefferson County, NY. They had children; Schuyler Frame; and William Luke Frame born Oct. 25, 1858, died Sept. 24, 1929, married Barnweld, NY Jan. 5, 1881 Frances Weston; and two others who died in infancy.

3. ROBERT WHEELER born Dec. 29, 1822, died Apr. 4, 1823
