Paul Davis or Paul Doris posed for this photo at the Harry L. Perkins studio between 1887 and 1897. The child was 15 months of age.

Jim Bishop, a collector of 19th-century photos submitted this cabinet card. Although the handwriting is quite distinct, the surname is in question. "Davis" is a possibility, although I suspect it is really "Doris." The three other "a's" clearly have a downstroke. The other "o' looks much like the second letter in the last name. The third letter, appears to be a scripted "r", identical to that in "Jr."
