Nicholas D. Dreer

Graham Coursey has submitted this cabinet card image of his ancestor Nicholas D. Dreer who was born about 1843 and lived to at least 1927. Dreer, a Civil War veteran, was born in Pennsylvania but lived most of his life in Rock Hall on the Eastern Shore in Kent County, Maryland. He obviously spent some time in Baltimore as well where he had this photo made at the Darby Studio, 321 North Gay Street. Robert D. Darby was located at this address only between 1900 and 1901.
