These two CDVs are part of a nineteenth-century album now owned by Thomas Davis.
The album originally belonged to the Samuel Ensminger family in York, Pennsylvania.
A few of the photos were made in Baltimore and are probably of relatives or friends
of the family.

The Baltimore Photographic Company was located on Lexington Street from 1885 until 1887.
It moved to Gay Street in the 1890s. The Martin Robinson studio was located at the northeast
corner of Eutaw & Lexington between 1882 and 1886. Robinson had been in business since 1871.

Tom Davis may be reached at writeguy47(at)aol.com. Replace "at" with "@"
He is eager to share information about these photos.
