Susan Latimer Franklin

This cabinet card of infant Susan Latimer Franklin
was made in the Norval H. Busey Studio
in Baltimore.

Susan L. was the daughter of Walter S. and Mary Franklin
In 1880 they lived in Ashland, Baltimore County, Maryland.

By 1900, the family lived at Mt. Vernon Place in Baltimore City.
Walter was employed as the president of the Electric Railway.

Susan had been born in February 1879, making the date of this photo
about September of that year.

She married Hiram E. Downing about 1902 and lived on Long Island
in an estate known as Appledore.

  The Franklins had a connection with the Small family in New York. The photo below
was purchased from the same dealer and may be a part of the same collection.
It depicts George Small, dated 1873 from New York City.
