The back of this cabinet card has the following
inscription, "... months of age, ...ah H. Gibson." Unfortnuately the number
of months and the first few letters of the given name were removed when
someone placed an adhesive label on the card, then pulled the label off.
I am guessing that the child is no more than six months in this photo.
Her given name is likely Sarah, although it could be Jonah, Elijah, Hannah,
etc. The photographer was William F. Shorey who had his studio at 157 West
Baltimore Street from 1879 until 1886
