Pictured above is Firechief Emerick and Samuel
Griffin, Carolyn's husband's
great grandfather. Griffin lived in Fell's Point.
He married first, Fanny Moody
and second Elizabeth Warner. All had died by 1912.
If you could look closely in this photo (which is very difficult in this format) you would see "Baltimore Bargain House" printed just to the left and behind the vintage auto. Additionally, behind the fence, just to the left of the American Flag, is a sign beginning "Lyric ..."
