Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century Photos

Howard Josselyn was born in 1891. In 1909, he graduated from Baltimore City College. He was married in 1914 to Mabel Eccleston. He earned his living in the family's candy business as a salesman for the Josselyn Milkmak Company.

Ella Grace Josselyn was born in 1896. She taught English at Catonsville High School.  In the left photo, she is pictured with her older brother Howard. Ella died just short of the century mark in 1995.

Carrie Blanche Josselyn was born in 1893. The right photo taken with her elder brother Howard was made in 1895. She died a year later of meningitis. A younger sister born in 1900 was also named Carrie Blanche.
