McKenna Family Photos

Donna Stewart is the very fortunate owner of a large number of family photos. The selections on this page unfortunately are not identified beyond being part of the McKenna clan. There are some great photos here. All of these are cabinet cards and all of them are positively identified to the 19th-century.

On the left is a young fellow who appears to be in a riding outfit and is holding a riding crop. The photo was made in the John A. Plumley Studio on Gay Street about 1903.

On the right is a Richard Walzl photo of a young man dressed as an altar boy. Walzl was born in Vienna in 1844. He made this photo in the 1890s probably between 1891 and 1893.

Above is another Richard Walzl cabinet card of a young boy dressed in the typical 19th-century pre-pants finery ... bow and polka dots! Nice photo from the early 1890s.
