I Enoch Cooksey being of sound & perfect mind & memory do make and publish this my last will & testament in manner & form following. First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Gracey Cooksey all of the land whereon I now live in during her lifetime also all of my parishable property _____. Horses cattle sheep hogs & house hold & kitchen furniture also the wood work of a wagon & what notes I have in my possession also the hold of the crop that is raised on the farm this year and all the farming tolls also all other property that I do owne except the tract of land joining Richmond Cooksey. My will is that the land and all of the property that may be left after the death of my wife Gracey Cooksey should be sold first I want my last family of children to be made equal with the first family of children that has _____ a part of my estate & there the remainder to be equally divided among all of my heirs.
My will is that the land joining Richmond Cooksey should be sold after my death & the proceeds there of to be divided in the following mannor, to my son Isaac Cooksey fifteen dollars to my daughter Mary Cobb five dollars to my daughter Mandy Young five dollars to my daughter Sarah Milring Ronald sixteen dollars to my daughter Caroline Cooksey twenty dollars to my daughter Louiza Cooksey twenty dollars if the said land should bring that amount and if there should be a remainder I want it to be equally divided _____ my daughters Mandy Young & Sarah Melving Runald my daughter Nancy Durham has had twenty dollars my son John Cooksey has had ninety dollars my son Isaac Cooksey has had five dollars my son Richmond Cooksey has had forty dollars my daughter Mary Cobb has had fifteen dollars my daughter Manyd Young has had fifteen dollars my daughter Sarah Milveny Runal has had five dollars and the balance of my heirs have had nothing I hereby appoint Gracey Cooksey sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me make in _____ wherefore I have hereunto set my hand & fixed my seal this the 19th day of August 1847
