CAMBURN & RUTHERFORD

L-R Theo Camburn, Amanda Ann Mandy (Hawkins) Camburn, Annie Jane (Caviness) Rutherford, and Jimmie Newton Rutherford, my grandparents. Dogs name was Butch!  House in the background is still in downtown Falkner and still owned by the Rutherford family.  

CAVINESS

This is all but one child of Prince Albert Washington Caviness. Annie Jane was not there that day. L-R sitting is Lucy, Prince Albert Washington and his 3rd wife Alice Hill Jackson Caviness, George, and Emma. Standing L-R is Glennie, Nat, Lexie, Luther, Lee, Myrtle, and Jimmie. Lee, Myrtle, and Jimmie are not P.A.W.'s children, they are Alice Hill and her first husband James Jackson's children.  I may have Emma and Lucy mixed up.

Prince Albert Washington Caviness and Alice Hill wedding picture.  They were married on 9 Aug 1896.  He was almost 20 years older than she was.

RUTHERFORD

Ethel Mae Harrison Rutherford (Mommy) my Great Grandmother, wife of William Jessie (Willie) Rutherford & mother of Jimmie Newton Rutherford.  Picture with her Great grandniece Linda Rutherford at Falkner Mississippi about 1972.  Parents were Henry Newton (Pa) Harrison and Sarah Ellen (Ma) Miller.

Born 1895 Died 29 May 1982

Henry Newton (Pa) Harrison my great great grandfather.  Henry was born 7 Oct 1872 and died  6 Jan 1961.  His parents were William Ferdinand Harrison {II} and Mary Elizabeth Smallwood.  Henry was a well known blacksmith in Tiplersville, Tippah Co. MS.  He married Sarah Ellen (Ma) Miller.

  

                            

Sarah Ellen (Ma) Miller Harrison my great great grandmother wife of Henry Newton (Pa) Harrison.  Born 11 Mar 1874 and died 11 May 1935.  Daughter of Samuel Miller and A. Jane Hudspeth Miller.
