with Canada serving under Gen Abercrombe. with Sir William Pepperell at
Louisburg surrender (1745.)on his 19th birthday & he was raised to
COl. One of he leaders in the band of Patriots that captured the
British armed cutter MARGARETTA, Machias Bay 12 Jun 1775 "Recieved the
thanks of the Provincial Congress 1775 for aiding the capture of Sloops

Thomas Lee and Seth Warner, Vermont Troops. 1832 he applied for pension
from Essex County NY and was allowed. Son of Col Benjamin Foster above.
