FUNERAL OF MRS. J. A. PERRAM.

Service at St. Stephen's, Lansdown

The funeral of Mrs. J. A. PERRAM, of Richmond Place, took place on Wednesday at Lansdown Cemetery. The first part of the service, which was conducted by the Rev G. L. FITZMAURICE, M.A. (Vicar), assisted by the Rev. P. J. S. RUSSELL (curate), was held in St. Stephen's Church. A large gathering of friends and members of the congregation attended, the deceased being a member of the church and a well-known and highly respected resident of the parish. The hymns were “Abide with me” and Jesu, Lover of my soul.” Miss TIMINS was at the organ and played “O Rest in the Lord.”

The mourners were: Mr. J. A. PERRAM (husband), Miss A. PERRAM (daughter), Major and Mrs. READE (son-in-law an daughter), Miss E. ASHFORD (niece), and Mr. and Mrs. E. ASHFORD (nephew and niece). Miss Eva PERRAM was prevented by illness from being present.

Among the congregation were: Major-Gen. L. J. E. BRADSHAW, C.B., D.L. (Churchwarden), Mr. A. I. INGRAM, Mr. E. H. HILLIER, Mr. R. W. SILVER, Mr. J. PARKER, Mr. L. VIBERT, Mrs. J. WARREN, Mrs. FITZMAURICE, Mrs. KENNEDY, Mrs. GILBERT, Mrs. T. COOTE, Mrs. SHARP, Miss JONES, Mr. and Mrs. H. COLLINS, Mr. W. COLLINS, Mrs. TARRANT, Mrs. BISHOP, Miss BISHOP, Mrs. SHUKER, Mrs. LUDGER, Mrs. TOGHILL, Mrs. FRY, Mr. W. TUCKER, Mrs. KING, and Mr. and Mrs. CHANDLER.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. HARDING.
