Curry Rivel farmer dies
The funeral service took place at Curry Rivel Congregational Church last Thursday of Mr. Clifford HECTOR, a 78-year-old farmer and withy grower, who died at Musgrove Park Hospital.
From 1905 to 1914 he served in the Somerset Constabulary being stationed at Weston-super-Mare and Chard, while during the 1914-18 war he was in the Somerset Yeomanry. He played rugby for Bridgwater.
In addition to the family cross from Rita, Vera, Ruth, Stella and Dick, wreaths were received from: Brother Albert and family; Brother Wilf; Sister Edith and family; Sister Ada and Herb and family; Sister Lily and family; Frances, Fred and Ron; Eve and Glen ADAMS; J.
