MARRIAGE OF MR. D. E. HAINES AND MISS R. M. DENMEAD. - The wedding of Mr. Donald Evan HAINES, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. John HAINES, of Taunton, and Miss Rose Mary DENMEAD, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom DENMEAD, of Yeovil, was solemnised at the Parish Church, Yeovil, on Saturday. The bride, who was given away by her brother (Mr. Richard DENMEAD), wore a gown of bois de rose crepe-de-chine, with velour hat to match, and she carried a sheaf of rose carnations. She was attended by Miss Maisie PHILLIPS (cousin of the bride) as bridesmaid. The “best man” was Mr. Hector HAINES (brother of the bridegroom). After a reception at the home of the bride's parents the happy couple left for Porlock, where the honeymoon is being spent. They were the recipients of numerous and useful presents, including a mahogany clock from the manager and staff of Lloyds Bank, Yeovil, and a drawing-room table and fireside chair from the staff of Messrs. Aplin & Barrett.
