SUDDEN DEATH.

THE LATE MR. HERBERT GIBBS.

Much sympathy has been expressed with the relatives of Mr. Herbert GIBBS, of 27, Alfred-street, Taunton, who died suddenly at his home on Sunday morning. He was 48 years age, and had not enjoyed good health for some ime [sic]. He had been unemployed since September of last year.

While in bed on Sunday morning Mr. GIBBS complained of pains in the back, for which his wife gave him treatment. He died suddenly at about 11.45.

A port-mortem examination was made yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) by Dr. Godfrey CARTER, and we understand an inquest will be held to-day. - The funeral will be on Thursday.
