DEATH OF MR. F. DUNN.

SURVIVES WIFE ONLY SIX WEEKS.

Six weeks after the death of his wife, Mr. Frank DUNN (68), of Bennetts Farm, Ruishton, passed away on Tuesday evening. He had been ill for about 12 months and had undergone two operations in the Westminster Hospital, London. He had returned home in the ambulance only on the previous Saturday. Mr. DUNN had grieved considerably over the death of his wife, the cause of which was thought to be her anxiety concerning her husband's ill-health.

Mr. DUNN, who was born at Tiverton Junction, had lived in Taunton for 36 years, prior to which he resided in Wellington. He was a salesman for the British Petroleum Oil Company for 21 years, and since his retirement in 1930 he had purchased Bennetts Farm, Ruishton. He was extremely well-known over a wide area, and his natural cheerfulness and sympathetic nature won his universal friendship. He had an innate love of animals, which was one reason why he had resorted to farming to occupy his leisure time. His late father was for many years a farmer in the Tiverton district.

Deceased leaves three sons, Messrs. William, Albert, and Eli James DUNN, and one daughter, Mrs. J. PHILLIPS, with whom much sympathy has been expressed. Mr. E. J. DUNN is the proprietor of Dunns Motors, Ltd., East-street, Taunton.

The funeral took place on Saturday in the Wellington Cemetery, where Mrs. DUNN was also buried.
