The examination of Thomas CHORLEY otherwise LANGDON now residing in the parish of Fivehead taken this 24th day of June 1818
Who upon his oath saith that he is now about 35 years old. That he was born as he hath heard and believes in the parish of Swell in the sd county – That about 14 years ago he went to Durston? in the said county and agreed to serve Mr. RICHARDSON as a yearly servant at yearly wage and that he served him accordingly as such five years in Durston? aforesaid and saith that about 6 years ago he married Mary? his present wife by whome? he has three children namely William about 5 years old Charles about 4 years old and James about thirteen months old and saith that he & his sd wife & children are now chargeable to the sd parish of Fivehead
