Ameliasburgh 17th of Feby 1816 That several of the concession lines of the aforesaid
township of Ameliasburgh are not running as your petitioners understand to the
surveyor Mr. Aikin who was employed on that service being taken sick before the
service was completed. As the
extension of that township is settling very fast, many inconveniences have
already arisen and will continue to arise, among the inhabitants of the same,
owing to the difficulties they find in explaining where their land lay for the
want of having the lines run Your petitioners therefore humbly pray your Excellency will
be pleased to authorize the Surveyor Genl of the Province to send a
proper surveyor to run the said lines and your Excellencies petitioners as in
duty bound will ever pray | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
