Paul Joseph7 Ambrose.98. Mary Sue ("Sue")6 Schneider (Louis James5, Peter4, Martin3, Anton2, Nickolaus1) was born in Detroit, MI 2/25/1933, and passed away May 29, 2022 in San Diego visiting her son Lawrence. When young Sue moved from a boarding school in Monroe, MI to New York City. In NY she taught ice skating (see picture below).
She married Algird Roy Ambrose on 6 Jan 1960. Al was born in 1932 and died in 2018 at 86 years of age.
Parents of Al Ambrose can be gleaned from the 1940 US Census. This reveals his parents are Joseph (age 52) and Albina (age 44). They were born in Lithuania. Joseph is currently (in 1940) a proprietor of a "retail grocery store, a class of worked defined as "Working on Own Account". Also living with the family at 5444 Livernois was Kize Ambrose, possibly Joseph's brother(?), age 54, and was working as a machinist at a brass factory.
Mary Sue Schneider and Al Ambrose had the following children:
