Here are some pictures culled from the many Lou Schneider had taken during his Army career. They include pictures taken when his Dad visited him in Seattle for the Christmas of 1943. The pictures taken at home, 1923 Glynn Ct, Detroit, Michigan, (to lots south of Twelfth Street) with his Mom & Dad and Eve Ann and Sue (Marilyn is absent) are from February of 1944, prior to his overseas duty, which began August 13, 1944. This is known because of the telegram he sent on February 6, 1944 to his parents concerning his arrival home that evening by train.
One picture taken August 25, 1945 includes Lou with an inspection crew of the 499th Bombardment Group.
