Notes for George THORPE
-----
George Thorpe was born in England, but emigrated to America with his son George (1819) in 1830. Descendants of this lineage settled in various locations, including Missouri, Texas and Kansas. This lineage belongs to haplogroup "I".

----
One researcher submitted info to the LDS Ancestral File that placed George's death and burial place as Farmland, Randolph Co. IN. I have yet to get any documentation to prove or disprove this. Also, it is unknown when George came to the U.S.
