Know all men by these presents, that we Enos Rappensperger, George Dawson, William Chapman and William Liedster are held and firmly bound to pay the State of Ohio, the full sum of five hundred dollars, if default be made in the condition following: Signand sealed by us at Canton the 30 day of October A.D. 1837 The condition hereof is, that if the said Enos Rappensperger and W George Dawson shall faithfully discharge all and singular the duties as Executors of the last will and testament of Moses Thorp deceased, as their duty in that capacity is pointed out by the lass of the State of Ohio, then, but in no otherwise, wil this obligation be null and void.

At a special session of the Court of Common Pleas begun and held at the Court house in the town of Canton within and for the County of Stark and State of Ohio on the 30th day of October 1837 The last will and testament of Moses Thorp deceased late of Bethlehem township in said County of Stark is this day produced in open Court for probate and John Brown and Robert Gypson the subscribing witnesses to said will appear in open Court on oath depose and say that they saw the testator subscribe the said will, that the said testator was at the time of excuting said will of full age, of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint. and that they subscribed the said will as witnesses in the presence of the said Testator and in the presence of each other. The Court consider the said will as duly proved and do approve the same and order that said will and probate be recorded.

Last Will and Testament of Moses Thorp - Sept 12, 1837 - Recorded in Wills Book B page 156

This is the last Will and Testament of me Moses Thorp of Bethelm Township Stark County Ohio North Amirka I give and Bequeath to my Sister Ann Dawson twenty five dolars and to mye Sister Mary Thorp fifty dolers my wish is that all the cattle, hay and grain be sold and every moveuble article, the household furniture exepeded I give and Bequeath to my Sister Elizabeth Thorp, Rebbeccah Thorp, Susanah Thorp the whole of my land. not any of the land must not be sold until the youngest of my Sisters become of Adge. the money that is produced from all that is sold must be paid to my credetors if there is not any money left after my credetors are paid my Sister Mary Thorp and my Sister Ann Dowson must be paid Anuely out of the Land. It is my will to apoint Enis Raffersparger and George Dawson Executres of this my will and witness whare of the said Moses Thorp have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelveth day of September in the year of Our Lord one Thousand eigh Hundred and Thirty Seven.

His x mark signed sealed published and declared by the said testater Moses Thorp as and for his last Will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto xx (John Brown, Robert Gypson), George Dowson
