Brooks an acting and duly commissioned Justice of the Peace in and for the Township of Cedar in said county did duly join in marriage GM Hughs of Clark County aged 20 years to Mary Magby of Clark County aged 20 years and then and there by the authority vested in me by law did pronounce them to be husband and wife by consent of parents upon hand. Given under my hand at this date above. Jas. M. Brooks
