My grandmother (Beulah Lee Thorp Titsworth) who was Kiomitia's grand-daughter used to tell me that her grandmother was a Cherokee. I don't think she knew much about her other than that.

Phone conversation with Kiomitia's g-grand daughter Ethel Estelle Smith Horner. She stated that her grandmother (Kiomitia's daughter Elbie) was very ashamed of being part Indian and didn't like to discuss it. She never mentioned a tribe. Ethel stated that her grandmother told her that Kiomitia's behavior was very erratic and often the care of the children fell to Elbie as she was oldest. Ethel said she believed Kiomitia was a patient in a mental hospital, possibly in Norman OK, later in life.
