Obituary: "Aitkin Independent Age" Feb. 13, 1941: " ORIN ALBERT WILLIAMSON - Orin Albert Williamson of McGregor, age 64, passed away at his home Sunday, Feb. 9. Death was attributed to heart trouble. Funeral services were held at McGregor Wednesday with Rev. Gable officiating. Mrs. Jacobson sang three hymns, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Victor Heed.
Elner Strom, Harvey Dean, John Johnson, E. O. Bacheller, Merle Zimmerman and Lawrence Marsh acted as pallbearers. Burial was made in the McGregor cemetery.
Mr. Williamson was born in Algona, Kossuth county, Iowa, Nov. 6, 1877. He was married to Miss Alma E. Nordell in Minneapolis March 2, 1913. The family came to McGregor 24 years ago, and have operated a farm here since.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife and eight children, Wilbert and Mrs. George Neil of Canada, Marguerite, Andrew, Blanche, Ardis, Stanley and Helen Anne, of McGregor, a brother, H.M. Williamson and a nephew, Ray Williamson, both of Oaks, N.D.
Mr. Williamson had been a member of the McGregor Board of Education for nine years."

WW1: Herbert registered for the draft from Oakes, Dickey Co. ND in 1918 as the general manager and president? of a an artesian well drilling company. He was of medium height and build with brown hair and blue eyes.

Mr. Jones was born Nov. 13, 1876, in Kentucky, and moved at an early age to Brown County, Ohio, where he was married to Nora M. Purdum in 1898. They lived in Ohio until 1911, when the family moved to Medford.
Two children, Stanley C. Jones, of Medford, and Edna H. Pollett of South Gate, Calif., survive.
He was married to Elizabeth Temple in September 1938, who survives, as does a sister, Mrs. J. H. West of Ripley, Ohio.
Mr. Jones entered the employ of the California Oregon Power Co., in 1918. He retired at the age of 65 and has since been active in lodge and fraternal circles. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America, Knights of Pythias, of which he was Past Order of D.O.K.K., and the Pythian Sisters. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church since early childhood.
There are four grandchildren: Stanley Jones, Jr., Kenneth Harry Jones, Betty Gale Pollett and John Elton Pollett.
Funeral services will be graduated from Perl Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Louis C. Kirby, pastor of the first Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Medford I.O.O.F. cemetery.
The Knights of Pythias will officiate at the graveside."

Obituary: : "Medford Mail Tribune" Tues. Oct. 2, 1956: "Nora Jones - Mrs. Nora May Jones, 79, who had been making her home at Southgate, Calif., and a former resident of Medford, died at a local hospital Sunday.
She was born May 29, 1877, near Georgetown, Brown county, Ohio. She was the daughter of James A. Purdum and Ida May Purdum. Her brother, John F. Purdum of Versailles, Ind., survives.
Mrs. Jones was married to John Henry Jones in 1898, and lived on a farm in southern Ohio before moving to Medford in 1911.Obituary: She was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Medford. She also was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, Pocahontas Council and Pythian Sisters. She was graduate of the California School of Practical Nursing and Allied Services.
Survivors include two children, Stanley C. Jones Sr., 512 Pennsylvania ave., Medford; and Mrs. Edna Helen Pollett , Southgate, Calif; four grandchildren, Betty Gale and John Pollet of Southgate Calif, Stanley C. Jones Jr., Medford, and Kenneth H. Jones of Ashland; four great grandchildren, Barbara, Susan, Stephen and Lawrence Jones, of Ashland.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at Perl Funeral Home. The Rev. D. Kirkland West, pastor of the First Presbyterian church will officiate. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial park.
Pallbearers will be Carl W. Foster, Harrison Thomas, Carl Fichtner, Howard Glascock, Glen Abbott and Paul Hanlon."
