Everett: Ev told SFW in 1998 that his aunt was married to Bugsy Siegel (sp) When they were kids, his mother made them go upstairs whenever the aunt came to visit! D. suddenly after eating in a restaurant. Cremated.
Obituary: : EVERETT GALE DENNER: "Everett G. Denner, 72, of Payson, Ariz., died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in his cabin north of Two Harbors. He was born in Valley Falls, Kan., Nov. 21, 1927 to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Denner. He grew up in Seymour, MO., where he attended school. He spent four years in the Navy aboard the USS Alabama during World War II. He was in the Army during the Korean War and spent several years in the occupation of Germany, until retiring in 1966. After his retirement he enjoyed traveling, golfing, and fishing with his wife, Ardis. Everett was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Elks. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Ardis; a son, Shawn (Renee) Denner of Glendale, Ariz., daughters Phyllis Gale (Dale) Glidden of Apple Valley, Calif., Peggy (Bill) Shannon of Tuscon, (sic) Ariz., Debbie of Phoenix and Judy Gerhard of Phoenix; four stepchildren; six brothers; two sisters; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. SERVICE: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cavallin Funeral Home, Two Harbors."
Obituary: "Aitkin Independent Age" May 5, 1971: STANLEY O. WILLIAMSON - Stanley Williamson, 46, of Route 4, McGregor, died May 1, 1971, at his home.
Mr. Williamson was born in McGregor, July 9, 1924 and attended the McGregor public schools. He was a life long resident of the McGregor community except for service with the Armed Forces in the South Pacific Theatre during World War II.
He was a member of Larson-Deneen VFW Post No. 2747, McGregor. Military graveside rites were held under the auspices of the post.
Funeral services were held from the Sorenson-Root Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 4, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Donald Norman offficiating. Mrs. Elof Green sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Rock of Ages". She was accompanied by Mrs. Donald Norman.
Pallbearers were Roger Elf, Curtis Johnson, James Gerber, Gary Lake, Eugene Reedy and Duane Carlson. Burial was in the family lot in Woodland Cemetery, McGregor.
Mr. Williamson is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth and Aleta; two sons, David of Danville, Virginia, Duane of Grand Rapids; his mother, Mrs. Alma Williamson of Brainerd; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Marguerite) Gerber, Brainerd, Mrs. Knute (Blanche) Elf of Minneapolis, Mrs. Ray (Ardis) Middleton of Durango, Colorado, Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Hartranft of Security, Colorado; one brother, Andrew of Dever, (sic) Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orin."
