    "Emma Louise Scroggin, age 87, of Morrilton, died April 1 at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County, Bentonville. She was born November 24, 1916, Morrilton, Arkansas. Mrs. Scroggin was a beautician for 34 years, a housemother at Massey Hall, Arkansas Tech University for two years, and a lifelong member of Morrilton First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Wesleyan Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, and the Get Up and Go Gang. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. David and Eleanor Scroggin of Russellville; daughter and son-in-law, Doylene and Bobby Fuqua of Bentonville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Kennimer Scroggin; her parents, Wylie Brown and Ollie Charton Brown Donald; her sisters, Clara Marie Eddy and Hazel Bunch. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 5, at Morrilton First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Scroggin officiating. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley Foundation Campus Ministry, ATU Box 8668, Russellville, Arkansas 72801."

    Johnnie Scroggin Burnett, age 90, of North Little Rock, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehab. Center.
    She was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Morrilton to Manuel and Maude Scroggin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Burnett; her parents; brothers, Earl and Doyle Scroggin; and sisters, Bess Scroggins, Muriel Prince, Jean Lemley and Margaret Nyberg.
    Survivors include a son, Raymond ?Butch? Burnett and his wife, Dianne, of Little Rock; granddaughter, Stacy Mallett and her husband, Kevin, of Sherwood; great-granddaughters, Ashleigh and Leigh Ann Mallett; and sister, Dean Cupp of Morrilton.
    Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Rest Hills Memorial Park officiated by the Rev. David Scroggin.
